Finishing Options for 5x24 Banners
- Print only: edges trimmed to size, no grommets. Good for mounting flat on a board or frame.
- Hemming only: edges folded over and reinforced, with no grommets. For hanging with clips, a frame, or pole pockets.
- Hemmed edges plus grommets: reinforced edges with grommets for hanging. The sturdiest choice for outdoor use.
Optional on any size: pole pockets (sleeves for a pole or rod) and wind slits (small cuts that let wind pass through on fences and outdoor walls; single-sided banners only).
5x24 Banner FAQ
How big is a 5x24 banner?
A 5x24 banner is 5 ft high and 24 ft wide: 60 × 288 in (152.4 × 731.5 cm), or 120 sq ft. It’s a horizontal banner.
How far away can you read a 5x24 banner?

How should I set up my 5x24 banner file?
Set it up in the same shape as the banner: 288 in wide by 60 in high, or a smaller version with the same proportions. For resolution, file types, and how large to design, see our custom banner artwork specifications. Designing online instead? See how to design a banner online.

Turnaround depends on our current workload, so the order cutoff can change. Our current policy: Standard Shipping Policy: Most Complete Ready-to-Print orders with up to 2 banners received by 3 pm EST / 12 noon PST (Mon-Fri, excluding holidays) will be shipped by the end of the Next Business day. Orders with 3 banners or more require additional days to ship. Requesting a design proof may delay your order.

No. Double-sided printing is available on sizes up to 3x10, so a 5x24 banner is printed on one side.
