Birthday Banner Design Tips

• Make the name and age the biggest text. Everything else can be smaller.
• Keep it short. A headline plus one line reads best from across a room or yard.
• Use strong contrast, such as dark text on a light background or white text on a dark one.
• Use the original, full-size photo. Screenshots and copies saved from social media are often too small to print sharply.
• Check the distance. As a rule of thumb, 1 inch of letter height reads from about 10 ft away.
